Launching a location based mobile app from concept to release
About Me
Even during my college years, I embarked on my design journey by co-founding a mobile app Hoopler. As a founder and operator of a small business, I shouldered an array of responsibilities, but I found immense satisfaction in researching, branding, and brainstorming. The process of uncovering and understanding user needs resonated deeply with me. Around the same period, I was deeply involved in film production and also started a videography business. My creative roles in these productions required a deep understanding of the client's vision and translating it into reality. Currently, I am a senior UX designer at Jenzabar in the procurement and receivables modules for our J1 Web product. I collaborate with a team of designers to transition our flagship product from desktop to web improving both functionality and performance. Within my team, I also manage and maintain our Figma Libraries and Design System for our J1 Web Product.
All of these endeavors taught me the importance of adaptability, collaboration, and putting your users' needs first. With a blend of business and creative expertise, I position myself as a designer focused on creating streamlined media for a fast-paced world. My aim is to design products that prioritize users, with designs that highlight rather than distract from the essence.
When I'm not working on designs, you'll often catch me immersing myself in my music. I love writing progressive metal tunes and playing drums with my band, Paradigm. I also get a kick out of indoor rock climbing, whipping up a meal for anyone who's got an appetite, and throwing fun-filled game nights for my buddies.
